iDetectMetal is a novel tool that searches out and exposes any magnetic items that it passes over. This practical device will be handy when finding lost ***s and invisible nuts and bolts that have unbelievably dropped in the grass while fixing the car. Also use it to locate that elusive cell phone and many other small or lost ferro magnetic items under the couch cushions. Have fun searching with your iPhone.
Simply glide the iPhone close to search area. The graphic, audio and vibrating feedback of iDetectMetal will indicate when you have passed over a metallic object.
iDetectMetal also provides user settings for volume and vibration sensitivity.
The application uses the compass hardware in the iPhone 3GS, so the user must have location services enabled for correct operation.
